Fable Friday: Shere Khan

Shere Khan appears in two of Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book series. Although he is a villain and tries to possess Mowgli, I have always had a soft spot for him. He was born with a crippled leg and grows up to believe he should rule. He is intelligent, cunning and I really don’t see why he shouldn’t, he is a much better choice than Mowgli . . . who is a bit irritating really! So here is my very sympathetic take on Shere Khan.
