Drop cap illustrations for Lonely Planet Magazine

I was recently asked by Lonely Planet to create four illustrative letters do be used as drop caps in the next issue of their travel magazine. The article is about the Dolomites and explores the folk tales and lore surrounding them. I love mountains, folklore and illustrated typography – so it was a bit of a dream brief to work on! The issue is out on the 19th July and I hope they look good in print.
